How to Install Metal Print: A Complete Guide
Proper mounting is key to the safety and flawless look of your new art piece. This guide will show you how to install metal print products step-by-step. Our mounting system consists of two parts: a strong magnetic receiver that you stick to the wall, and a slim metal plate attached to the back of your print.
⚠️ Important: For a secure hold, the wall surface must be clean, dry, and perfectly smooth. This system is not recommended for heavily textured plaster (e.g., “popcorn” finishes) or delicate wallpaper. If you’re unsure, test the receiver on a small, inconspicuous area first.
How to install metal print: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Choose & Prepare Your Wall
- Avoid heavily textured plaster and delicate wallpaper.
- Ideal surfaces are smooth, painted drywall—free of dust, grease, cracks, or loose paint.
2. Clean & Dry the Surface
- Wipe the area with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to remove all dust and dirt.
- For greasy spots, gently wipe with isopropyl alcohol, then allow the wall to dry completely.
3. Attach the Magnetic Receiver
- Carefully peel the backing from the adhesive side of the receiver.
- Press it firmly onto the wall for 10–15 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
- Allow 5–10 minutes for the adhesive to set before proceeding.
4. Prepare Your Print
- Check that the metal plate on the back of your print is securely attached.
- Remove any protective film from the plate and avoid touching its surface.
5. Hang & Align Your Print
- Hold your print close to the receiver and let the magnet snap it into place.
- Adjust left or right as needed to achieve perfect alignment.
6. Verify & Maintain
- Gently tug on the print to confirm it’s securely mounted.
- Clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth—no harsh chemicals needed.
