Treat an office metal print as a small building job. Confirm image rights. Measure walls and sightlines. Approve each crop. Pick a finish for the real room light. Get building sign-off for the whole mount. Standard Bolot photo prints are dry-indoor products without UV laminate; the aluminium surface alone does not establish fire, hygiene or public-building certification.
An office display answers to more people than a room at home. Marketing may pick the image. Facilities owns the wall. Legal checks rights and privacy. Staff and visitors live with the result each day. A good plan links these calls before you print.
Start With the Purpose, Not the Medium

Decide what each spot must do:
- Name a place, project or team.
- Give a reception wall a clear focus.
- Show product or building photos you own.
- Help people find the way down a corridor.
- Offer a calmer image in a staff area.
- Sit a small personal set on a firm desk or shelf.
Do not call wall art a proven boost to productivity, hiring or sales unless a study backs that exact claim. It carries imagery and brand context. The real effect depends on the room and the people who use it.
Clear the Image Rights and Privacy Questions

Before you upload, find who owns each photo and how you may use it. A file pulled from a slide deck, a stock preview or a past employee's folder is not cleared for a lasting display just because you have it.
Check:
- What the copyright or licence covers.
- Consent from any model or employee shown.
- Customer, patient or project privacy.
- Visible trademarks, screens, badges and papers.
- Location and artwork permits, if needed.
- Whether the image still suits visitors as well as staff.
Keep the licence or written sign-off with the final master file. For team changes or short campaigns, note when to review the display.
Select Files for the Actual Sightline
A reception image may be read across a room. A corridor image may be seen at an angle. A meeting-room print may sit behind someone on a video call. Shoot each wall from those spots first.
Start from the sharpest approved original. Set the crop to the size ratio you chose. View logos, faces, text, straight lines and soft gradients at 100%. Do not use a squashed slide export when the real photo exists. A big pixel count cannot rescue soft focus or heavy compression.
The configurator helps you set crop, orientation, format, finish and a virtual room view. It is not a colour-accurate physical proof. It cannot match the glare or scale of every office.
Measure the Complete Layout

Bolot's current display roles use the Legacy formats and the Cinematic formats, plus a desk-only Keepsake set. You can compare the full metal print range as you plan. Here is what each one does best:
- The Keepsake Trio: three 13×9 cm desk prints with three separate metal stands; never a wall format.
- The Legacy Print Classic: 30×20 cm wall print with its supplied indoor magnetic wall-mount kit.
- The Legacy Print Statement: 42×30 cm wall print with its supplied indoor magnetic wall-mount kit.
- The Cinematic Print range: 21×14, 30×20 and 42×30 cm wall-only formats, each with an included tool-free magnetic wall-mount kit for a compatible indoor wall.
Tape full-size paper outlines to the wall. Include the gaps in a group of prints. Check doors, switches, moving furniture, cleaning gear, public reach, exit signs and access notices. A print that clears a table may still sit in a walkway or catch a video-call glare.
For several sites, keep a simple schedule. For each wall, log a photo, the size, a print ID, the file name, the crop, the format, the finish, the sign-off and the person in charge.
Choose Finish From Real Office Light

Glossy throws back more light and can lift the sense of contrast. Matte looks softer and cuts glare, though it cannot remove it. Check each wall in daylight and under the lights you use in work hours.
In a meeting room, look at the wall from every seat and on the fitted camera. In a corridor, walk it both ways. In a reception, check the main visitor sightline. Do not fix one finish for every site when the light differs a lot.
Standard Legacy and Cinematic photo prints are for dry indoor display and have no UV laminate. Keep them away from prolonged direct sunlight, persistent steam, splash zones and outdoor exposure. The surface can be scratched: remove loose dust and use a clean, soft microfibre cloth without abrasive or harsh cleaners.
Obtain Installation and Safety Approval

The Legacy Print Classic, The Legacy Print Statement and all Cinematic wall formats each include their own magnetic kit for a compatible dry indoor wall. Follow the supplied instructions and hang each print exactly 1 minute after kit installation.
That product instruction does not replace building rules. A workplace may need landlord consent, a facilities permit, a different fixing, a written load check or proof about the whole finished assembly. Do not infer a reaction-to-fire, hygiene, food-area or medical-environment classification from aluminium alone.
The three stands in The Keepsake Trio belong on a firm indoor desk or shelf, away from an edge. Think about public access, cleaning routines and the workplace rules for freestanding items.
Plan Repeat Orders and Handover
For a multi-site or repeat project:
- Keep one approved source and output master per image.
- Note the crop, format and finish, not just a screenshot.
- Name files the same way each time.
- Approve text and logos at the real output size.
- Keep the fitting and care notes on site.
- Check the current price, stock, checkout total and delivery estimate for each order.
If Bolot proposes a meaningful crop or correction, it waits up to five business days. Approval makes that proposal the production reference; without a reply, production uses the original crop submitted with the order, not the unapproved suggestion.

Frequently Asked Questions
They can be when a smooth frameless print fits the interior and the complete product is approved for the intended location. Standard Bolot photo prints are for dry indoor display without UV laminate. Do not infer fire, hygiene, impact or public-building certification from the aluminium surface alone.
No room-capacity formula determines the size. Measure the clear wall, table, sightlines and normal viewing distance, then test full-size paper outlines. The Legacy Print Classic is 30×20 cm and The Legacy Print Statement 42×30 cm; The Cinematic Print range wall-only sizes are 21×14, 30×20 and 42×30 cm. A wider wall may require a measured group.

Pricing, availability, delivery, tolerances and terms must be confirmed for the project; this article does not promise a bulk discount or custom size.
The Legacy Print Classic, The Legacy Print Statement and all Cinematic wall formats each include their own magnetic kit for a compatible dry indoor wall. Follow the supplied instructions and hang each print exactly 1 minute after kit installation. The responsible facilities, landlord, insurer or safety professional must approve the exact location where their rules apply.
Consider owned or properly licensed team, product, project, place or documentary photography that remains legible from the intended sightline. Check consent, confidentiality, trademarks, crop and source quality. No subject type guarantees engagement, professionalism or a business outcome.
Do not assume a screen preview or orders made at different times will be an exact physical batch match. Keep an approved production master and record crop, format and finish. If a commercial tolerance or repeatability requirement is critical, agree it expressly before offering or placing the project.
Verified quality support lets you report a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or wrong size, finish, or personalisation promptly after discovering the issue. This is an additional support channel only and does not shorten any applicable statutory period or remedy. A conforming personalised product is not eligible for a voluntary change-of-mind return. If Bolot approves a physical return, Bolot covers the return cost and provides instructions.
